For this project we had to create a portrait out of things that represent us or we feel strongly about. This project was inspired by Tristan Eaton's portraits.

The pen illustration that makes up part of the hair is a family tree. My family is very important to me that is why in the illustration my mother and father are carved into the tree..
The Second part of the hair is a lotus pond. The Lotus comes from my name Laxmi which is the name of an Indian goddess. Images of the Goddess Laxmi depict lotus flowers with her, this is something that I wanted to show because my name is an interesting thing about me.
The Shoulder is the Colombian flag because that is where I am from, and to show that the letters are rising from my skin.
The chest part is a pattern of sweets to represent how sweet I am.
